Apple secured top position at 20.1% global market share as largest smartphone seller in the world in 2023.
Samsung came in at second postion with 19.4% market share, followed by Xiaomi at 12.5% at third position.
The overall global smartphone market in 2023 declined 3.2% with total sales of 1.17 billion units, a decade low number.
The decline was attributed to muted economic recovery in China, which is world's largest smartphone market and tepid consumer demand due to high inflationary trend in 2023.
