The Miami, Florida headquartered cruise line Royal Caribbean International is set to launch the world's largest cruise ship named Icon of the Seas costing $2 Billion.
The Icon of the Seas with 20 decks is approx 1200 foot long and weights 250800 gross tonnage.
The previous title was with cruise ship Wonder of the Seas.
Lionel Messi is named as the Icon for Icon of the Seas.
The floating mini-town has 7600 passenger capacity over and above 2350 crew members thus summing total capacity to approx 9950.
The cruise ship will host 40 restaurants and a Waterpark.
The price per trip with the cruise ranges from $3500 to $100000.
