Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal's Artificial Intelligence(AI) Startup - Krutrim has attained Unicorn status with the latest funding round by raising $50 million at a valuation of $1 Billion.
Unicorn Status is for startups reaching valuation of $1 billion or more.
With this, Krutrim has achieved multiple feats:
1) Krutrim is the 1st AI Unicorn of India
2) Krutrim becomes India's fastest Unicorn
3) Krutrim becomes India's first Unicorn in 2024
Krutrim means 'Artificial' in Sanskrit.
It was launched on 15th December and with in a span of approx 1.5 months, it reached valuation of $1 Billion, thus becoming the fastest Unicorn till date.
The latest funding round was led by Matrix Partners India which has previously backed Bhavish Aggarwal's Ola Cabs and Ola Electric.
Krutrim AI is a Large Language Model (LLM) trained on 2 trillion textual words i.e, a Generative AI platform like ChatGPT.
